Cha Bar is located at Connaught Place (CP), Block-N, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi.

This is a much hyped cafe to have light meals and read books at the same time. The cafe is also proved to be a very pocket friendly place to have food with your friends.

Now you will find the way to this cafe from Oxford Bookstore, which is just next to the cafe with easy entry-exit ways. To be clear, Cha Bar is just inside this book store.

Cha Bar no doubt has great ambience, it has got small shops inside which sells cute notebooks and stationery items, it has tons of books to read and buy (great place for book and coffee lovers) and also seating place is available to spend some quality time, it is a go to place anytime with friends or even alone!

But if you are planning to go somewhere to have great food, then this might not be the place for you!

I say this because, the food they cook is homely in taste. Something that you can also easily cook when you are alone at home.

Me and my sister went to this cafe and we ordered- white sauce penne passta, platter of chips with dips, cold coffee and a lemon ice tea.

To be honest, I could have made every single thing in the menu at my home! The food tasted very homely.

The penne passta’s sauce was not at all creamy, it was watery in texture and the bread served with it was super dry (something that I would have make myself :p), the finger chips were nothing but smileys which we can simple deep fry, the cold coffee tasted good (thank god!) and lastly the ice tea tasted average.

If you are tight on budget and want to go somewhere to have decent meals, this is the place for you. But if you really want to have amazing passta, fries or drinks, try something else than Cha Bar.
